THE OTHER SIDE OF MISSILE COMMAND
A free missile arcade game. You’re the incoming fire.
One Gets Through reverses the classic Missile Command idea: you launch the missiles while defenders try to shoot them down. Aim at the cities, watch the blue interceptor blasts and find a gap in the defenses. Play this single-player browser game free on desktop, phone or tablet, with no download or signup.
How to play
Select a numbered launcher, aim at a ground impact point and fire. Clear every city to advance through five levels, from First Contact to Final Approach. Later levels add launch points, defenders and faster missiles. There’s no time limit, but ammunition is limited.
Spread your attacks across the battlefield and fire while defenders reload. Blue explosions destroy incoming missiles, and any explosion that touches a city can destroy it. Earn 1,000 points per city, +500 for a double hit from one blast, and +750 per city destroyed by defensive fire. Win with your final missile for +100, or keep missiles unused for +150 each. Bonuses stack.
Mouse, touch and keyboard controls
- Mouse: select a launcher, move to aim and click to fire.
- Touch: turn your phone sideways, tap a launcher, then drag on the battlefield to aim and release to fire. Turning upright pauses the game.
- Keyboard: select a launcher with 1, 2 or 3. Aim with the arrow keys, hold Shift for fine aim and press Space to fire.
- P pauses, R retries the level and M toggles sound.
Retrying keeps your score from earlier levels. Progress and personal bests save in this browser. Returning resumes at the start of your current level. Share a cleared level to challenge a friend—no account needed.
